A new Pointer Indicator setting has been added under Accessibility settings to help low-vision users more easily locate and use their mouse cursor. When enabled, users can toggle the pointer indicator on and off using the keyboard shortcut "Win + Ctrl + X". This feature aims to make Windows devices more productive for accessibility needs.

In 26058, The widgets board also gains notable upgrades in this release. A navigation panel is now available on the left side allowing seamless switching between a dashboard showing your selected widgets and the new integrated Discover feed for current events. Related to the widgets board, Microsoft has begun rolling out a useful badging feature that provides notification counts for any missed notifications when widgets aren't open. The badge shows on the taskbar, providing at-a-glance awareness to avoid missing important notifications.

For Canary channel users, a richer interactive weather card will now display on the lock screen, including expanded forecast details on hover. The full weather forecast can also be viewed by clicking the card to launch a Microsoft Edge tab with MSN weather data. This enriches the lock screen with dynamic information to complement the background image or slideshow.
