Microsoft has recently informed us that Windows 11 OneDrive users are getting some strange bug with their shared folders. This is a June 2024 bug in which Windows users are seeing internet shortcuts. Microsoft has confirmed this bug.

In this bug, when you try to open a shared folder in File Explorer, it takes you to the OneDrive website instead of showing your files. Due to this, pushing the user to the OneDrive site without showing the correct information is causing the problem.

We are getting to see many problems in the June update KB5039302 of Windows 11. This includes many problems like Taskbar Issues and endless Windows restarting. Now we are getting to see these problems on OneDrive as well. Apart from this, Microsoft has also stopped the feature update of the dev version of Windows 11.

Your folders are also appearing asInternet shortcutss instead of normal folders. It seems as if your computer has forgotten how to say "folder".

This problem of OneDrive is becoming big because when you are working with your document files, it spoils the condition of those files working together properly. It does sync some files. But what happens is that it is not able to provide offline access.

Not every user finds it convenient to visit the OneDrive website for any file at any time.

Microsoft says that we are aware of this bug available on OneDrive. We have put our technical experts to work on it. They will soon find out the reason and fix it.
