Microsoft is going to make some new changes to Windows 11. In which the people behind PowerToys are working on something called 'New+'. This may change the way users create new files and folders.

With this new change, we may see a change in the process of file creation. All users of Windows 11 who use Windows, whenever you want to create a new file or folder. Then for that, you have to right-click on the screen and go to 'New+'. There you will see many old options on the template. By selecting which you can create a file or folder.

Microsoft used to do it by right-clicking to create any type of folder or file. Due to which we used to see many old options.

PowerToys 'New+' Features and Drawbacks

Keeping all these things in mind, the PowerToys team on Windows 11 gives us the option to open all the files immediately. That is, in this new change, the files on which we were working immediately. Now we can open them immediately. We will see all types of files on that template.

Suppose the team of UWinPC was doing its documentation. Due to some reason, that file has been closed. Then with 'New +', we can just right-click and select the file of that document on the template. We can continue.

But the best thing is that it gives us custom features. With which you can also create your own templates. You can also create a special folder for your homework. Apart from this, we can also set the time using the daily to-do list. When you right-click, you will find it there.

If you use OneDrive, then it becomes even better. All those files that you use on OneDrive will be visible on your template. In a way, it also shows your old history.

The people who have created 'New+' have some big ideas. They are thinking of a place where people can easily share their templates. That is, in the coming time, we will be able to ask AI to create a file directly.

Microsoft is working on this to make it even better because if you create a lot of templates when you right-click and see them, the list will look very long.

If we understand from the user experience, then 'New+' is not ready for everyone's use yet. Its name may also be changed in the coming time. Till then we will have to wait for it.
